
Matthew F. Fuller
Matt has been practicing since 2001 and is admitted to the bar in New York and U.S. District Court, Northern District of New York. A graduate of Fort Edward High School, Matt attended the State University of New York at Potsdam (B.A.), where he obtained his degree in politics and graduated with honors in the Pi Sigma Alpha national politics honor society. Matt is a 2000 graduate of Albany Law School of Union University. A member of the Warren County Bar Association, Matt is a Past President having also served in numerous other offices, and is a member of the New York State Bar Associations (Business Law, Municipal Law and Real Property Sections), where he has been an active member of the Real Property Section. Matt is also a member of the Washington County Bar Association.
Matt has represented clients with municipal, small business, real estate, land use and planning issues since 2001 and currently represents numerous municipalities in the Warren County, Washington County and Essex County regions. Matt also has significant experience in wastewater treatment matters including SPDES permits, DEC and EPA violation negotiation and general regulatory oversight.
Matt has also represented clients in matters ranging from adult oriented land use, defense and prosecution of Article 78 litigation, site plan, subdivision, area variances, use variances, special use permits, preparation of local law drafting and adoption, Comprehensive Plan preparation and adoption, SEQR compliance and litigation, environmental permitting, and APA and LGPC applications and permitting, SPDES permits, drinking water permits and other similar permits.
Mr. Fuller is a past lecturer at the New York State Association of Towns where he has conducted the Zoning and Planning Caselaw update, and has spoken at New York State Bar Association Continuing Legal Education classes on topics including State Environmental Quality Review, land use and zoning, real estate titles and adverse possession. Matt is also the co-host of the annual Zoning and Planning Training class that he and colleague Jeffrey R. Meyer host for the annual 4 hour training requirement for planning board and zoning board of appeals members.
Mr. Fuller and his wife Nancy Fuller are the owners and proprietors of Fountain Square Outfitters located at 1 Ridge Street in Glens Falls, New York. Matt’s retail experience provides insight and background in assisting small business start-ups in lease negotiations and property acquisition, point of sale evaluation and negotiation, inventory negotiations and employment matters.
